In the installation process of double expansion anchor bolts, preliminary preparations are crucial. First, the installation location needs to be clarified and precisely marked with high-precision measurement tools to ensure the accuracy of the anchor bolts in the predetermined position. According to the specific usage requirements and the weight, material and other factors of the object to be installed, select appropriate specifications of double expansion anchor bolts to ensure that their bearing capacity matches actual application. In addition, the required installation tools must be prepared, including impact drills, hammers, wrenches, pencils and alloy drill bits, to ensure the smooth progress of the installation process.
After determining the marking position, the drilling step is next. Drilling using an impact drill and an alloy drill bit with the same diameter as the double expansion anchor bolt expansion tube, the hole depth should be slightly greater than the length of the expansion tube, and it is generally recommended to leave an additional 5 to 10 mm to ensure that the expansion tube can be fully inserted into the hole and fit closely with the hole wall. The aperture must match the outer diameter of the expansion tube to ensure that the expansion tube can be embedded in the hole smoothly and generate sufficient expansion force. After drilling, be sure to use tools such as brushes or hair dryers to clean up dust and debris in the holes to prevent debris from affecting the anchoring effect of the anchor bolt.
After the drilling is completed, enter the link of installing the anchor bolt. Place the expansion tube of the double expansion anchor and the anchor body into the drilled hole together to ensure that the expansion tube is completely inserted into the hole and is closely fitted with the hole wall. Subsequently, the object to be fixed is placed on the screw and the screw is screwed into the expansion tube. During this process, the nut needs to be tightened moderately with a wrench. As the nut is gradually tightened, the screw will pull outward, causing the expansion tube to expand in the hole and tightly clamp the hole wall. Pay attention to the uniformity of the force when tightening to avoid damage to the screw or expansion tube due to excessive force.
Finally, after the installation is completed, a comprehensive inspection of the double expansion anchor bolt is required. Gently shake the mounting object to feel its stability. If there is no obvious shaking, it means that the installation is relatively firm. If necessary, the fastening force of the anchor bolt can be detected with professional tension testing equipment to ensure that it meets the requirements of use. If the installation is not firm or the tightening force is insufficient, adjust and retighten the nut in time to ensure the fixing effect of the anchor bolt.
